It wasn't an easy journey for weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz.
She came from humble beginnings in Zamboanga and tried several times before getting that first gold medal for the Philippines in the Olympics.
But Hidilyn doesn't want to stop there.
She hopes to inspire the younger generation to continue reaching for their dreams.
That's why last year, she released a children's book, titled 'Ginto't Pilak, about her journey in the sport.
